Who Staffing is looking for a Junior Data Modeler/Architect II for a fulltime direct hire opportunity with our client in Westminster, Maryland 

Job Description:

·        They’ve found that typical higher education degrees alone, even in directly applicable fields such as Software Programming, do not prepare candidates for a beginning position with our client. In addition to a degree they are looking for candidates with extensive intern experience, personal projects or at least one to two years direct professional experience in the field for an entry position 

Skills Requirements:

·        Demonstrated ability in data model or database construction, implementation, and manipulation.

·        Solid understanding or various database frameworks.

·        Burgeoning understanding of how data models can be leveraged across the enterprise independent of a specific representation or implementation (tool agnosticism).

·        Up to 20% travel 

Education/Experience Requirements:

·        One of the following:

o   4+ years professional database design / configuration experience

o   2+ years combined programming and data modeling experience

o   2+ years of database design / configuration plus bachelor’s degree

o   Master’s degree in computer science with a concentration in data architecture, database design or related
