Who Staffing is looking for an Accounting Manager for a fulltime, direct hire opportunity with our client in Baltimore, MD.
Job Summary:
Our client, a 100-year-old commercial roofing company, is seeking an Accounting Manager for their Baltimore location. They are looking for a driven and energetic person to be part of their team; a candidate who is a problem solver, and who will quickly learn and improve the processes of the company.

This position directly reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform monthly general ledger accounting close-out including account reconciliations and G/L analysis.
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly reporting packages.
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and related journal entries.
· Weekly payroll reporting and oversight as well as monthly and quarterly payroll reports.
· Oversite and preparation of monthly customer invoicing.
· Oversite of Accounts Receivable.

· Following proper accounting procedures to accurately measure financial results.

· Attention to details and timely deliverables.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accounting Manager, Bookkeeper or related experience.
· Sound knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft 365 suite.
· Experience with accounting software.
· Comfortable working in a construction company environment.
· Excellent communication and listening skills.
· Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions.
· Values learning and personal/ professional development.
Preferred, but not required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
· Experience with construction related accounting and accounting software.
· Working knowledge of Foundation construction accounting software or a similar accounting financial package.
