Who Staffing is looking for a Director of Sales for a fulltime, direct hire opportunity with our client in Owings Mills, MD.
Job Summary:
To generate profitable sales, growth opportunities and valued partnerships with clients, vendors, venues and our community, through a knowledgeable and upbeat team-oriented sales group. This position works with our team of seasoned Account Executives and reports directly to the President / CEO and subject to change at any time.
Job Responsibilities:
· Reports to CEO/President directly.
· Schedule to be turned in and then approved or denied by CEO/President.
· Ability to work remotely on a case-by-case basis and limited to 2 days per week.
· Flexible hours with the understanding that 45+ hour work week is expected.
· Achieve the company’s annual budget goals.
· Lead Biweekly sales forums to encourage and inspire sales ideas, hone techniques and expand knowledge.
· Build communication and provide guidance to your team.
· Relay company initiatives and new developments.
· Work with the Sales Administrator, accountant, and owners to understand fluid pricing dynamics to enable our seasoned sales team to achieve the targeted level of profitability.
· Audit and complete billing on a weekly basis.
· Create guidelines for consistent proposals that represent our brand.
· Assist with overall marketing strategy to maximize effectiveness such as social media, showcases and client reviews.
· Proactively solicits multiple sources and leads to new events, partners, and venues.
· Negotiates contracts with vendors for a variety of goods and services related to events planning.
· Responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan to attract new clients and maintain a pipeline of existing and prospective clients to achieve the Companies annual budget goals.
· Networking, warm and cold call program.
· Develop an employee training program for the department by position.
· Develop SOP for each department position.
· Maintain overtime at a minimum while maintaining a 35+ hour work week for all hourly positions.
· Collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to create menus and pricing.

Administrative Processes:
· Assist with marketing strategy to maximize effectiveness such as social media, showcases and client review Oversee the collective coordination of all event information and resources
· Team Member goal setting and the use of an OKR approach
· Team member reflections (reviews)
· Assistance with collection of accounts receivable
· File Audits:
o Contract integrity
o Revenue forecasts
o Staffing accuracy
o Status updates and timely
o Signatures
o Deposit schedule
o Billing
· On call as needed for executive level coverage
· Work with the culinary team, purchaser, accounting, and owners to execute pricing dynamics that achieve the targeted level of profitability
Job Requirements:
· Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Power Point
· Knowledge of Catering Software
· Ability to work mornings, daytime, nights, weekends and holidays.
· Ability to be flexible with respect to the work schedule to meet and accommodate the needs of the Owner’s and the organization.
